| Busy DynaBil adds plant, hires workers, expects big bump in sales
A new 33,000-square-foot plant, the latest expansion at DynaBil Industries Inc. in Coxsackie, will help double annual revenue within three years, said company president Paul Burton. The aerospace manufacturer will hire 70 workers, pushing its total work force to 300 by the end of this year. That's almost twice the staff DynaBil had two years ago. The company had already hired 50 employees ahead of an announcement about the new building Feb. 4. DynaBil has been boosted by its role as a parts supplier to Boeing Co.'s 787 "Dreamliner" airplane. The new manufacturing plant gives DynaBil needed space, Burton said. .

So, I would say in negotiations, the non-union labor item, along with the sale at a bargain price of some of the gas to Oregonians being cheap or free, should be favorable to the State of Oregon. If we can't get a lot or most of these items, then the owner can hit the waves! It appears that this type of opportunity cannot be handled by any of our State politicians, expecially the Governor, so the first hurdle to overcome would be to get someone that knows what they are doing in negotiations. City may move homeless from underpass to shelter
Mayor Ray Nagin's administration appears to be preparing to move the city's biggest homeless colony, a highly visible collection of people and bedrolls just off Canal Street, to a Central City emergency shelter. Some City Council members and leading advocates for the homeless say they are not aware of the plan, although the director of the New Orleans Mission confirmed that the city accepted his proposal on Friday. Nagin alluded to a plan for the homeless last week during an appearance on WWL-TV. He said he had recently seen a man in the encampment on Claiborne Avenue beneath Interstate 10 "drinking beer and just flipping the bird to citizens." Calling the scene "a mess," Nagin said that before the end of February, the city will begin enforcing its "habitation laws." "We've got more mental cases out there," the mayor said.
